Burn Day Update

Santa Barbara County Operational Area Fire Chiefs are allowing a limited burn window that extends to April 30, 2014. This two week window will help facilities the burning of accumulated cut fuels throughout the Santa Barbara County thereby reducing the fuel load in peak fire season.  This would allow permitted hazard reduction and residential burns in addition to the agricultural burns currently allowed on declared burn days until May 1, 2014.
