We extend our deep gratitude and sincere appreciation to the entire team at the Southcoast Dispatch Center for their unwavering support, professionalism and exemplary service throughout the years. 🚒
Heads up! May 15 is around the corner. Be ready—make sure ReadySBC Alerts can reach you with the latest information during an emergency. It only takes a minute to stay informed when it matters most.
If you intend to participate in the upcoming chipping program, please contact Van Joy with your address your earliest convenience. Participants are strongly encouraged to begin cutting and trimming vegetation at least two weeks in advance to ensure proper preparation before the chipping service arrives in your neighborhood.
At just after 9:00 a.m. this morning Carpinteria-Summerland Firefighters 🚒 responded to an animal rescue call — a horse had found itself trapped down a steep hillside, swallowed by thick brush. Using chainsaws to cut a path, crews teamed up with Santa Barbara County Animal Services and Santa Barbara Equine Evac to guide the horse safely back to its pasture. A true team effort and a happy ending! #AnimalRescue #HorseRescue #CarpinteriaSummerlandFire #Teamwork #SantaBarbaraCounty #FirstResponders #EquineEvac #FireDepartment #BrushRescue #WildlandResponse
