Mike LoMonaco

Fire Marshal Michael LoMonaco has over 20 years of service as a first responder. Before being hired by Carpinteria-Summerland Fire, he worked for the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue team, Santa Paula Fire, and Ventura County Fire. As a local building contractor, he brings his extensive knowledge of building construction to the district.

He has an associate’s degree in Fire Science and a bachelor's degree from UCSB in Law and Society. He lives in Summerland with his wife and son and feels fortunate to be able to serve his community.
