The Logistics Section

Managed by Battalion Chief Noah Tunney, the Logistics Section plays a crucial role in supporting the operational readiness of the Carpinteria-Summerland Fire Department. The section oversees the department’s fleet, fire apparatus, facilities, equipment, and supplies. This includes managing 3 Type 1 fire engines, 2 Type 3 fire engines, 1 Type 6 fire engine, 2 rescue watercraft, a UTV, and 14 utility and support vehicles. The department operates out of two fire stations and an administrative headquarters, ensuring the community is served with well-maintained resources and fully equipped personnel.”
