Wednesday, July 13th was Fire Engineer Dean Hathaway’s last shift with Carpinteria-Summerland Fire Protection District. Dean was first hired on October 1, 1983 with our agency. He was a consummate professional during his 33 year career with CSFD. He will be sorely missed. We wish him and his wife, Julie nothing but the best in their future endeavors.
